On a recent post from El Gato Malo noticing the Beloved Dear Leader St. Jacinda, I wrote the following in response to a commenter:
I leave this to you as a provocation and hopefully as inspiration.
The context is this belief going around about our looming 2023 election. It goes like this:
Yes, we all agree that Labour/Greens have to go.
But we also agree that Budget Lex Luthor is not a suitable replacement given his endorsement for all the same globalist WEF garbage as the current pack of idiots.
Expect 95% of Labour policies with more immigrants and housing speculation.
David Seymour and his ACT gang, who have reminded us of the key Libertarian principles of mandatory medical treatments, masks, and passports, are no solution.
These are the only options.
We’re pretty well screwed.
What I want to know is…
Why do we take this for granted? Why do you accept this?
Trust in mass media is at an all-time low.
More people than ever realize that the Government is waging psychological war against us.
When a mind-worm like “we have no hope” starts spreading, your first response ought not be blind trust.
The better question is, who would benefit from my believing this?
Here’s a few options:
Somebody that didn’t want you to vote
Somebody who wanted you to think that your vote didn’t matter
Somebody who needed you to believe that political reform is hopeless
Somebody who needs you to believe that any hope of resistance is futile
You’d best be thinking on this and considering your actions.
If the future turns into the dystopia you believe is coming, and you did took not one single step to prevent it, you are responsible.
My comment is 100% true, by the way. For all the “harden up” bluster, Kiwis are the most spiritually defeated people I’ve ever met. You’d try hard to find a beat dog with less hope.
I want to propose to you an alternative.
A modest alternative.
An option that might be effective if even a few people tried it.
Here it is:
Speak up. Do something.
It doesn’t have to be big.
Take the blue toilet paper off your face. You know it doesn’t work, they know it doesn’t work. Wearing it only assents to the regime.
Connect with others that you know are sick of this. Make your views clear.
Find the people who are taking action and support them. I don’t care if you think Matt King has no shot. I don’t care if you think Brian Tamaki is a w*nker.
They’re taking action. What are you doing, besides complaining?
There’s maybe five million people here. Less if you count those of voting age.
If ten percent of that number say “no more” and organize to put pressure on these clowns, and not only through voting, they are done. Labour, Luxon, the whole lot of them.
The more of us speak up, big, small, any way we can, the better this goes.
YOU HAVE TO SPEAK UP.
Kiwis need to read this (and it's going to hurt)
I think they're toast. In fact I think that Jacinda thinks that they're toast as well.
